Mamavoxbox has arived!

So a few days ago I got my first Influenster vox box as they are called. This one was a Mamavoxbox. Items meant for mothers I suppose. Things they thought I would enjoy. I was so excited!! I love getting goodies in the mail and coming home to a box of stuff just for me is exciting! So upon opening I received these items.

Let me tell you... about this stuff. Thats why you came here right?

The Dr. Scholl's inserts are heavenly. I wear flats with no support in them everyday to work. They make such a difference in my shoes, I feel like I'm walking on little clouds of gel. My feet feel less tired. They have a sticky backing on them that keeps them in place while being worn. Although after wearing them for a few days the sticky becomes not so sticky and it started to flap around in my shoe while I was sitting at my desk. I found that washing them in warm water will restore the sticky! They are not too thick since they are made to fit in womens shoes like flats or heels. I don't feel them on my feet when I am sitting but when I walk I definitely feel the extra cushion on my heels. They have some cushion on the balls of my feet but not too much. I think maybe concentrating a bit more cushion there would make them ideal for heels since thats where alot of weight is being placed when walking.

The belVita Oats and Chocolate cookies... I was not a fan of. They are soft but maybe too soft. They fell apart as I ate them. They tasted a bit off too... less cookie like and more vitamin like. Thats how I would describe it. Sweet factor was not there. They tasted very bland. The texture was what I expected out of an oatmeal cookie. A bit chewy which I don't mind in a cookie but maybe if the cookie held together better and it was a bit sweeter It would be more palatable.

Listen Annie... This isn't personal ok. I'm sure your full size box that needs boiling is awesome... But these microwave portions.... we need to talk. Sit down.... Are you sitting? OK.
I received the Real Aged Cheddar Microwave Mac and Cheese.
I followed direction. Add water to the line. Check! Stick in microwave for 2 min...Check! I added the cheese packet. Check! I did what the label told me to. Then I mixed the bejesus out of it and well.... Some of the noodles were still hard. It tasted good when I didn't bite into a glop of hard noodles. I ended up searching for all the hard noodles and ended up throwing out about half the container. There wasn't much to begin with. I will say the cheese flavoring is good. But the noodles were hard. Annie why did you do this to me?! I wanted to like you. Better luck next time champ. Maybe I'll give you a second try...

Last but not least... Ponds...I love that you sent me 2 colors incase one didn't fit my skin tone. The medium was perfect for my hispanic skin tone. It glides in smooth and evens out my skin tone very well. I didn't feel like I had any thing on my face which is a huge plus. I hate the feeling of cakey makeup. I will definitely be changing my brand of bb cream when this runs out!
